Each entry describes a pattern of behaviour reported by travellers, compiled from public reporting, or surfaced from public reviews and checked by a moderator. Every entry carries a label saying which of those it is.
They are not findings of fact. They describe things that have been reported in an area — not proven incidents, and not accusations against any particular business. Entries are written to describe an area and a method rather than to name a venue.
Images come from Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia, Openverse, Pexels and Flickr, and are used under Creative Commons or equivalent licences that permit commercial use and adaptation. Each photograph is credited to its creator with its licence, on the image itself.
