1. Nazi symbols, salutes, and Holocaust denial are criminal offences

Displaying Nazi symbols (swastika, SS insignia), performing the Nazi salute, or denying the Holocaust is a criminal offence in Germany with a significant prison term. This applies to tourists as well as residents.

2. Jaywalking carries an on-the-spot fine
