1. Old Phuket Town

2. Big Buddha

3. Phang Nga Bay

Limestone karsts rising vertically out of shallow green water, best seen by kayak through the sea caves rather than from a large boat's deck.

- Tip: Smaller operators reach the caves at tide windows the big boats cannot — worth asking about before booking.

Longer, calmer and considerably less frantic than Patong, with enough infrastructure to be easy.

- Tip: Red flags mean genuinely dangerous rip currents in the May–October monsoon. Drownings happen every year and the flags are not decorative.
