1. Almacenes San José Artisans' Market

The big waterfront craft market in a converted warehouse — paintings, leather, wood, jewellery and souvenirs from several hundred stalls.

Tip: Original paintings need an export stamp if they are of any size or value — the sellers know the process and can arrange it.

2. Obispo Street and Habana Vieja
