One of the largest markets in Europe, housed in five Zeppelin hangars — fish, meat, dairy, produce, bread and Latvian specialities.

Watch out Plastic and pressed amber are sold as Baltic amber throughout the old town. Real amber is warm to the touch, light in the hand, floats in salt water and often carries insect or plant inclusions.
